Carrie L. Bohm, DDS
Bohm Dental of Redmond

Q: What do I do if I have an emergency?
A: Call our office as soon as possible, as we allow time in our schedule for emergencies. There will be instructions on the answering machine for emergencies after hours.

Q: Which insurances do you accept?
A: There are too many to list! We take all insurances and are preferred providers for Premera, Regents, and Delta Dental / WDS. As a courtesy to our patients, we bill your insurance.

Q: How do I know when it is time to come in for a professional cleaning?
A: Typically, the American Dental Association (ADA) recommends you receive a professional cleaning and oral examination every four to six months. Patients with a history of gum disease or other ongoing health concerns, might require more frequent visits. We will perform a thorough examination to determine what kind of continuing care will achieve your optimal dental health.

Q: Do you accept referrals and/or new patients?
A: Yes, we are accepting new patients. The majority of our new patients come as referrals from our dental family, as well as through other dental and medical professionals. We are very thankful for any referrals and offer a "thank you" gift to any patient who refers another patient to us. The Front Office manager will have the details on the latest offer.

Q: What can be done if I am anxious about visiting the dentist?
A: At Bohm Dental, we have many amenities to help you have a peaceful and relaxing dental visit. Just let any member of our staff know your concern and we will present various options to make your visit as stress-free and comfortable as possible.

Q: Can you make my teeth whiter?
A: A whiter, brighter smile can give you the feeling of youth and vitality. Bohm Dental offers a number of options to help you have a more brilliant smile. Dr. Bohm will conduct a full evaluation to indentify the treatment that is right for you and at a price you can afford.

Q: What if I have a gap in my teeth, a chipped tooth, or teeth that do not respond to normal bleaching methods?
A: Wear, tear, and discoloration over the years can make your smile look less brilliant than you might desire. With today’s technology, materials, and advanced techniques, you have many options for restoring your weak, broken, chipped, discolored, or crooked teeth to their original shape and function. There has never been a better time to restore your smile. Call us today for a complimentary consultation so we can evaluate which type of restorative or cosmetic dentistry is right for you.

Q: Is an oral cancer exam included in my dental exam?
A: Bohm Dental is committed to the early detection of oral cancer. Every time you come into our office for a regular dental check up, you are examined for oral cancer. We will be doing an intra-oral and extra-oral exam each time you come to our office for a hygiene appointment. Oral cancer is a very fast growing, aggressive cancer. When detected early, the survival rate for oral cancer ranges between 80-90%. Unfortunately, close to 70% of oral cancer is discovered as late stage 3 and 4.

Q: Does your office have complimentary WiFi?
A: Yes. Please ask the Front Office Manager for the password. The SSID is "Bohm Dental".
